Investigating Genre In Short Film (Summary)

From Jamel's presentation we can learn that once we formulate an idea we need to categorize our film into a genre and then look more in depth into the conventions and come traits of the genre. Sub genres will help categorize them evermore in depth. Postmodernism basically contradicts everything i just said as the nature of it is to deconstructs existing genres to form new ones(bricolage) thus giving us the creative freedom do what we like.
